"I enjoy giving back to my community; spending time with my children, grandchildren, and extended family; photography; and gardening. As a working mother, I achieved my Bachelor of Science Degree of  Business Management in 2007. I have been employed at Volunteer Energy Cooperative for the past 15 years. I demonstrate my strong work ethic as an employee, a community volunteer, and a leader. I’m currently serving my 2nd term as the 1st District County Commissioner; I also serve as a board member for Friends of the Cherokee Removal Memorial Park, as President of Meigs-Decatur Chamber of Commerce, and as Chairperson of the Downtown Decatur Christmas Committee. I am a volunteer at heart and love our small county."
